What is recruitment video?

Recruitment video for us means producing video’s that capture and enforce the so called ‘employer brand’. These videos are your way of showing the unique selling points (USP’s) of your company, department or vacancy.

You will clearly give voice to your employer value proposition (EVP). Why should somebody work for your company? Why should somebody quit their current job and make this step? What’s in it for them?

Why recruitment video?

Due to the progressively shrinking job market the pressure to find skilful staff is increasing.

The scarce target audience frequently receives offers to switch jobs, to ‘convince’ them you will have to capture their attention; you will have to stand out. These people don’t visit job sites, don’t read vacancy texts and barely glimpse at your LinkedIn message. However they do frequently and actively make use of social media and that is exactly where your video can attract their attention by means of a ‘target campaign’.

Besides that, there is the ‘new generation’ of employees. This generation has different expectations of an employer and generally wants to see certain aspects reflected in a company and employer. A video gives insights, is accessible and easy to watch but more importantly it will give the viewer a ‘feeling’ of what’s it’s like to work for your company.

Technical aspects of a recruitment video

Every video has its own story and therefore its own technical needs. We work with multiple variations of cameras, equipment and crew, all depending on the budget. We range from an IPhone to 4k cameras with cinematic quality images. Slow motion, time-lapse, hyper-lapse, lighting, green screens, special effects, actors, drones: Everything is possible depending on your preferences.

Isn’t video really expensive?

What is expensive? It’s expensive to have a vacancy open for a long period of time. It is expensive to hire people who’s qualities are not the ones you need. Or to hire people that do not sit well within the working culture and leave quickly.

So think about what you want to achieve with the video, how much you will gain with this and then determine your budget for a video. We realise video is a tool for you to obtain results. With the result in mind we will help your to create a video.

Asking ‘what a video costs’ is hence difficult for us to answer. It completely depends on the ideas, preferences, type of video and what you want to achieve with it.

The road from first introduction to final version.

We would love to introduce ourselves and learn more about your company, recruitment process and possible ideas you might have regarding the video. In a first meeting we will ask you for: target audience, look & feel, message, length, who or what do you want to portray, location, budget and distribution channels.

 

Concept

When the above matters are clear we will share a proposal for the format of the video. This will also include the required financial investment.
